The President of the United States of America Donald trump told the Minister of defence James Mattis to analyze the condition of the nuclear forces of the United States, it is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the text of the Memorandum, signed by the President on January 27.
As follows from the text, instructed trump left to ensure a more effective process of nuclear deterrence and the security of the allies.
“The Minister of defence should initiate the analysis of the status of nuclear forces to nuclear deterrence the United States was a modern, powerful, mobile, were in readiness and answered the threats of the XXI century, as well as defending our allies,” – said in the text of the Memorandum.
Earlier it became known that the U.S. Congress can pass a bill according to which the President will lose the right to give the order a nuclear attack without the consent of Congress and not as a retaliatory measure.
