Weather forecasters of hydrometeorological centre of Russia announced in Moscow on the penultimate “orange” level of danger of the weather on January 8, due to abnormal frosts. On Saturday, January 7, TASS reported.
“”Orange” level means that the weather threat. There is a possibility of natural disasters, damage”, — say forecasters.
The same level applies for the Kostroma region. In other regions of the Central Federal district it “yellow”.
According to forecasts, the next night in Moscow will be up to minus 30 degrees, on area in places the air cooled to minus 35 degrees.
Earlier it was reported that Christmas night (7 January) was the most frosty in Moscow over the past 120 years. According to meteorologists, the air in the capital has cooled down to minus 29.9 degrees, and in the field — to minus 33.4 degrees.
