MOSCOW, 13 Dec — RIA Novosti. The Amsterdam court decided to give the collection of Scythian gold, brought from the Crimean museums, Ukraine, Reuters reported.
The collection was moved to the exhibition “Crimea: gold and secrets of the Black sea” in the archaeological Allard Pierson Museum in Amsterdam in early February 2014, before the Peninsula was reunited with Russia. Total collection of about two thousand artifacts, including not having analogues in the world.
After long negotiations, the Crimean museums in court demanded that the Netherlands has complied with the obligations under the contracts and returned them to the exhibits. The district court of Amsterdam in October considered the case.
The head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksenov said that if the court will take the side of Ukraine, the Crimea to fight over a collection of Scythian gold.
