All taxis in Moscow will become yellow in 2018. The head of the Department of transport and dorozhno-a transport infrastructure of capital Maxim Liksutov said at a briefing in the Rambler&Co.
According to him, unification will be completed by July next year.
Liksutov noted that currently in the capital 74 thousand licensed taxi. It’s 10 times more than in 2010. The average waiting time caused by machine over the years has been reduced from an hour to seven minutes.
The Minister also spoke about the development of the transport system in Moscow, new Parking lots, car sharing and the possible advent of a Hyperloop.
Earlier in January, was developed by unified color scheme for the suburban taxis. They should be white with yellow reflective strip. According to Deputy Minister of transport of the Moscow region Andrei Sredneva, the transition to such a painting will be completed within five years.
