The US is ready to cooperate with other countries in the fight against the banned “Islamic state”. This includes military cooperation with Russia. As emphasized in the White house, such cooperation is in the national interest of the country, reports RIA Novosti.
In addition, cooperation will be undertaken in both military and economic spheres.
“The President made clear that he would work with any country that shares our interests in fighting ISIS, not only in the area of national security, but also on the economic field”, – said the representative of the US administration Sean Spicer.
This statement was a response to a question whether Moscow and Washington to jointly fight terrorists. When asked about a joint operation in Syria, Spicer said “it is still in development”. It is advised to consult the Pentagon.
Earlier it became known that the United States has provided Russia the coordinates of ISIS targets in Aleppo.
