MOSCOW, January 22. /TASS/. The Chairman of Russian political party “United Russia”, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on January 22 to take part in the XVI Congress of the party. As reported in a press-service of the government, he will hold a joint meeting of the Supreme Council and the General Council “United Russia” and will give a report in front of party members.
Opened on Saturday at the ENEA Congress became the first party after the September elections to the state Duma, “United Russia” arc: according to their results, the party has not just regained its constitutional majority in the lower house of Parliament, but seriously exceeded the results of previous campaigns. Now party members are going to analyse the results of the elections, including from the point of view of personnel policy.
