The head of the Crimea called the statement of the leader of “National front” marine Le Pen on the recognition of Russian Crimea in case of its victory in the presidential elections in France, a visionary.
Earlier, Le Pen in an interview to the newspaper “Izvestia” said that in case of her election victory France recognize Crimea as part of Russia. She also noted that in case of victory will restore normal relations between France and Russia, in particular, will act for the abolition of anti-Russian sanctions. The Ukrainian foreign Ministry has expressed indignation at the statement of marine Le Pen.
“This wise and far-sighted position, leading policy worthy of a great country. Unlike many of their European colleagues, to carry out orders from Washington and Brussels or blinded by Russophobia, MS Le Pen to objectively assess reality and puts in the forefront, first and foremost, the interests of France. She also, apparently, knows the history of Russia and Crimea. Invite marine Le Pen to visit our Peninsula,” — wrote on his page in Facebook Feldman.
Earlier Vice-Premier of the Crimean government Georgiy Muradov has informed that the authorities of the Republic will be pleased to see the candidate in presidents of France from the party “national front” marine Le Pen at a party.
Feldman also reminded that the position of the leader of “National front” against the Crimea is shared by MPs belonging to other parties. In the summer, a delegation of French deputies visited the Peninsula, and this was an important step in breaking the information blockade, said the head of the Republic.
“Today, fewer and fewer Europeans believe in the myth of the “annexed” the Crimea, created by Ukrainian and Western propaganda. This is largely due to people’s diplomacy,” wrote Feldman.
Crimea became a Russian region after held there in March 2014 referendum in which 96.77% of voters of the Republic of Crimea and 95.6% of residents of Sevastopol voted for joining Russian Federation. Crimean authorities held a referendum after a coup in Ukraine in February 2014. Ukraine still considers Crimea its but temporarily occupied territory.
The Russian leadership has repeatedly stated that the inhabitants of Crimea democratically in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter voted for reunification with Russia. According to the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, the Crimea issue “is closed permanently.”
