Heavy snow fell on the capital region. About it reports “Interfax” with reference to the Deputy mayor for housing and beautification of Pyotr Biryukov.
According to him, by evening the city will drop up to 2 inches of snow, another 8-9 inches will increase snow cover at night. It is also expected snowstorm and strong wind up to 17 m/s.
Thursday afternoon will drop another 3 inches of snow.
For elimination of consequences of snowfall involved about 11 thousand units of equipment and about 42 thousand workers.
The Deputy mayor also asked motorists to be extremely attentive on roads, to observe traffic regulations and not to interfere with the passages of the columns snowplows.
