The head of the Kyiv Patriarchate, Patriarch Filaret blessed fighters of a specialcompany “Tornado”, which are under investigation for serious crimes in the so-called ATO. Video shot at the opening of the temple in the White Church, was posted online.
A man in camouflage and with a poster with pictures of the arrested men in the hands interrupted the service and asked Filaret to pray for the fighters of “Tornado”.
“We pray that the Lord Almighty rescued them…” – said the head of the Kiev Patriarchate.
12 fighters of “Tornado” are accused of serious crimes – rape, robbery and murder.
