Died British writer John Berger

The famous British writer and artist John Berger has died at 91-year life. It is reported by the Guardian.


 


Berger began his career as a painter, then became an art critic in the New Statesman. His first novel “the Artist of our time”, he published in 1958.


 


The famous writer brought the book “the Art of seeing”, published in 1972. In the same year the BBC filmed the eponymous series.


 


For his novel “G” Berger was awarded the prestigious Pulitzer prize. Half of the winning writer gave the Black Panthers movement in Britain and the second portion of the amount spent on its study on working migrants.


 


The last few years, he lived in the suburbs of Paris.
