A member of the house of representatives from Democrats Adam Schiff called for the introduction of new sanctions against Russia. It is reported portal The Hill.
According to Schiff, with him behind new sanctions are the members of the Republican party.
“We believe that much remains to be done. We honestly don’t think that the steps already taken are adequate deterrent,” said the Congressman.
Schiff also said that Congress may take “further decisive action” if, after the inauguration of Donald trump will make an attempt to cancel the sanctionsimposed earlier by Barack Obama.
