MSU entered the top three Russian universities in the European ranking by the
MSU, MIPT and St. Petersburg ITMO University were the three top Russian universities in the ranking of best European universities by Times Higher Education (THE).
“On 21 June for the first time released a ranking of the best universities of Europe, the British rating Agency, THE. It includes 400 universities from the geographical Europe from the UK to Greece, accounting for approximately 40% of the total number — 980 universities included in world rankings THE World University Rankings”, — TASS quotes an excerpt from the message of the University.
“Russia is represented in the European top 24 universities. The ITMO University took the position 191-200 and third place among Russian universities after Moscow state University (93) and MIPT (151-160)”, — stated in the message.
Previously, MSU entered the top 100 rating of the best universities in the world and has occupied 30-e a place.
Reputation rating of THE first was published in 2011. It includes 100 universities in the world, whose reputation is estimated through surveys, which involve the most authoritative scientists from different scientific fields.
