Russian President Vladimir Putin said that despite the urgent departure of the President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte home, Moscow and Manila will sign a package of documents on cooperation on Wednesday, may 24, reports TASS.
“We know that our employees and colleagues did a good job and prepared a package of documents, Your Ministers here remain and tomorrow this package of documents aimed at the development of our bilateral ties will be signed,” – said the Russian leader, starting in the Kremlin meeting with Duterte.
Earlier Duterte during a meeting with Vladimir Putin explained his abrupt departure to Manila the situation in the Philippines.
Duterte, being in Russia with official visit, martial law was imposed in the Philippine province of Mindanao because of the activities of the rebel group “Mouth” associated with a terrorist organization “Islamic state”.
