The Chairman of the state Duma Commission on control over reliability of data on incomes, about property and obligations of property character represented by deputies Natalia Poklonskaya proposed to study the legislative possibilities for verification of divorces deputies and officials in the fictitious. She spoke about it in an interview with RNS.
“I proactively sent the relevant request to the Prosecutor General, interior Minister and Minister of justice, they reported on the problems that we need to resolve in law. Including in part fictitious divorces of civil servants. I sent letters to gave me a vision — how to practice law enforcement work and establish a fictitious divorces officials. Such schemes can be used to transfer property and assets to former spouses, in fact, continuing to live together,” said Poklonski.
Poklonskaya said that at present, in legal terminology, the concept of “fake divorce” does not exist, respectively, to recognize the fictitious divorce as a legal fact impossible.
The MP has received a position of the Prosecutor General and the interior Ministry. But both answers do not contain offers on the part of fictitious divorces.
