Media: military of Venezuela are going to use snipers to deal with the protesters
According to the publication El Nuevo Herald, Venezuelan army General Jose Rafael Torrealba Perez was ordered to prepare for the use of snipers to deal with the protesters against the policies of Venezuelan authorities.
The newspaper published an audio recording which allegedly recorded the conversation at the meeting of the regional command of Venezuela. It is reported that during the conversation, the military discussed the possible risks when using snipers.
Earlier, the military of Venezuela has stated that he does not use firearms against protesters. “We don’t use a lethal weapon. We have in such cases no rifles, pistols or machine guns,” said Venezuelan defense Minister Vladimir lópez.
