The appointment of spectracolor investigation “RF interference” in the elections of the President of the United States may adversely affect the relations of the USA and Russia, including in the fight against international terrorism, stated RIA Novosti the head of the Federation Council Committee on defense and security Viktor Ozerov.
The U.S. Department of justice has appointed the former head of the FBI Robert Mueller spectaculorum to investigate the so-called “RF interference” in the U.S. presidential election in 2016. US intelligence agencies had previously accused Russia of trying to influence the election, Russia has repeatedly denied the allegations, press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov called them “completely unfounded”.
“The probability is high that it can negatively affect relations of Russia and the United States, if the (President Donald) trump will succumb to this pressure and starts to prove that he has no plans for cooperation with Russia, including in the sphere of fight against international terrorism,” — said Ozerov.
