MOSCOW, may 15. /TASS/. Operation of Russian Armed forces in Syria contributed to the radical change of the situation in this middle Eastern country and created favorable conditions for the promotion of inter-Syrian dialogue, Deputy Secretary of the Russian security Council Mikhail Popov.
“They (coordinated with Damascus actions of the Russian military – approx. TASS) caused by international terrorist groups in Syria significant damage, contributed to the radical change of the situation, have created favorable conditions for promoting inter-Syrian dialogue to achieve a political settlement of the conflict”, – said Popov in an interview to the newspaper “Red star”.
