Putin signed a decree on strengthening security measures at the time of the world Cup
Moscow. May 10. INTERFAX.RU — security Measures will be strengthened on the territory of constituent entities of the Russian Federation, within which are located infrastructure, designed to host world Cup FIFA 2018 and FIFA confederations Cup 2017 and also in adjacent waters.
Measures are introduced at the time of the confederations Cup from 1 June to 12 July 2017 and world Cup from may 25 to July 25, 2018.
This follows from the decree on the peculiarities of applying enhanced security measures during the Russia world Cup FIFA 2018 and FIFA confederations Cup 2017, which was signed by President of Russia Vladimir Putin.
