MOSCOW, may 8. /TASS/. The number of conscripts exempted from military service for health reasons has decreased over the last seven years by 10%. This was reported in the Main centre of military medical expertise of the Ministry of defense of Russia.
“Currently, the indicator of fitness for military service has a strong tendency to increase throughout the Russian Federation”, – said the Agency. According to the defense Ministry, the highest validity to military service is recorded in the South of Russia (87.3 percent). In 2016 the largest number are engaged in service recruits became Stavropol Krai.
Military called and major diseases, giving the recruit the right not to perform military service. They were diseases of the musculoskeletal system, circulatory system (cardiac arrhythmias), hypertension, and diseases of the digestive system.
“Enhanced medical monitoring of readiness to receive replenishment of military units, accommodation, nutrition, water and bath and Laundry facilities. At the stage of appeal to prevent the emergence of mass diseases in military personnel carried out mass vaccination,” concluded the defense Ministry, noting that the current recruitment campaign (15 July) it is planned to call for military service 142 thousand.
