McGregor sets a timeline for a return to MMA

Irish UFC fighter Conor McGregor: sparring will resume in April and then come back return to full-fledged training in martial arts. The athlete wrote about this on Twitter.

33-year-old McGregor expects to fully recover from injury by the spring of 2022. “We will resume sparring in MMA in April, further return to the sport is inevitable!” – wrote the Irishman.

On November 23, McGregor claimed that he intends not only to resume performances in the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC), but wants to fight for the title. At the same time, Americans Michael Chandler and Max Holloway are counting on a duel with the Irishman.

McGregor was injured in a fight with Dustin Poirier in the summer. Then the Irishman broke his leg in the first round and was unable to continue the fight. He lost to Porier for the second time in a row.

McGregor is a former UFC champion in two weight classes.
