Russian Ambassador to the United States Antonov: a positive result appeared in relations between Moscow and Washington 
Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that in relations Moscow and Washington on cybersecurity have appeared “the first shoots” of a positive result. He announced this in an interview with the SolovievLive channel on YouTube.
“We have had four rounds of consultations on cybersecurity,” Antonov said, adding that “the first sprouts of a positive result in this area have appeared.”/p>
At the same time, the ambassador did not specify what exactly they are, noting what awaits when representatives of the Security Council of the Russian Federation and the White House will decide for themselves when and what to make public.
Previously, the official representative Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that, in addition to difficulties, changes for the better were outlined in relations between the United States and Russia. She said that the negotiation process continues, including on the issue of strategic security. She highlighted the joint resolution on cybersecurity adopted by the UN General Assembly. According to her, a couple of months ago no one would have believed that Russia and the United States would jointly offer such a policy document.
