According to him, he should have “acted stronger” in the context of the agreements with Moscow, despite the fact that “this is 99 percent depends on Russia. ” “We had to take more risks,” Zelensky added.
At the same time, the president said that as a result of the problem in relations with the Russian side, he began to solve “like a stayer”. “I really wanted to sprint and win it, but I moved from the sprint to a longer program,” he stressed.
Earlier, during a press conference, Zelensky commented on the special operation of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on the capture of 33 Russian mercenaries, who were eventually detained by the Belarusian security forces in a sanatorium near Minsk. He said that Kiev was “dragged into it” and shamed himself for what had happened.
