Tourism industry experts noted that in addition to Sochi, less popular resorts – Arkhyz, Dombay , Elbrus region – hotels there have risen in price by 35 percent.
The reason for the increase in the cost of ski holidays in the country, according to experts, was the lack of competition: Russians are inaccessible to the Alps, and there is no wide variety of winter resorts inside the country.
Earlier in November, it was reported that in the upcoming New Year holidays, the Krasnodar Territory plans to receive about 400 thousand tourists. Russians massively book hotels in Sochi, Anapa and Gelendzhik with check-in in late December.
