The Sun: Queen Elizabeth II of Great Britain attended the baptism of two great-grandchildren in Windsor The ceremony was held with the participation of a narrow circle of people, writes The Sun.
The double christening ceremony took place in the Great Windsor Park. It was arranged for the son of Princess Eugenie Augustus Philippe and the son of Zara Tyndall Lucas Philippe. Elizabeth II came to the ceremony despite her health problems: she had previously pulled her back, but the doctors allowed her to take part in the christening. The event was attended by other members of the royal family: Prince Andrew, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge William and Catherine.
On November 17, Elizabeth II, who did not participate in public events on the recommendation of doctors for a month, held a private audience for the first time. At Windsor Castle, she met with the chief of staff of the British Armed Forces, General Nick Carter, who will leave office by the end of November. Prior to this, the British Queen canceled participation in the Memorial Day ceremonies, scheduled for November 14, due to a sprain.
Earlier, the son of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles of Wales, spoke about the state of his mother's health. He noted that “it's hard enough even at 73.”
