The Russian government will allocate about 1.1 billion rubles for payments to non-working pensioners , 1 billion rubles for regional social benefits to non-working pensioners. This was reported on the website of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation.
It is noted that the funds will be directed to 15 regions of the country, including Buryatia, Karelia, Yakutia, Jewish Autonomous Region, Trans-Baikal Territory, Amur, Leningrad, Magadan, Murmansk and Novosibirsk regions, Nenets and Chukotka Autonomous Districts. Social payments will be received by those pensioners whose total amount of material support is below the subsistence level for this category of citizens.
It is known that the issue of the mentioned measure of support of the population was considered and approved on November 17 at a government meeting.
< p> Earlier, State Duma deputy, secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Sergei Obukhov, admitted that the Russian authorities could announce New Year's payments for pensioners. Speaking about the estimated amount, Obukhov clarified that we can talk about 10-15 thousand rubles.
