Beer historian Egorov: Moscow Brewing Company pilsner is not inferior to Czech
in Russia. Experts expressed their opinion in the framework of the material “Lenta.ru” on the restoration of old recipes of beer.
According to the researcher of the history of Russian and Soviet brewing Pavel Yegorov, the Pilsen beer, produced at the plant of the Moscow Brewing Company, is in no way inferior Czech original. “Their Pilsen is almost as good as Czech. If you compare it with Czech sorts, it will even benefit, because it is fresher, “Egorov said.
Chairman of the Vyatka beer club Dmitry Zhezlov also preferred the Pilsen beer of the Moscow Brewing Company. “This beer is just an exemplary pils and quite deservedly collects numerous awards at international competitions,” the specialist believes.
Earlier, Dmitry Zhezlov told how modern Russian beer differs from Soviet one. In his opinion, modern technologies and raw materials make it possible to produce a much better and tastier drink.
