Over the past day, 36,970 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia. Thus, the total number of infected people since the beginning of the pandemic was 9 331 158. This was reported on Sunday, November 21, by the headquarters for combating infection in its Telegram channel.
At the same time, the day before, 37 120 were known of infected COVID-19 Russians in 85 regions of the country.
6.7 percent of new infections did not have clinical manifestations of the disease, the headquarters noted.
According to the data, the largest number of infected were in Moscow (3438), St. Petersburg (2496), Moscow region (1909), Samara region (1661) and Krasnodar Territory (989). It is also clarified that over the past day, another 884 residents of Crimea fell ill with COVID-19.
