Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov announced Turkey's encouragement of destabilization in southeastern Ukraine
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in a conversation with Foreign Minister Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu expressed the Kremlin's concern about Turkish-Ukrainian cooperation in the military-technical sphere. This is stated on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Also, the Russian minister drew the attention of his Turkish colleague that the encouragement by Ankara and other Western countries of the course of the Ukrainian authorities to escalate tensions in the southeast leads to destabilization of the situation in the region. Lavrov and Cavusoglu also discussed the situation in the Transcaucasus and the Balkans.
On October 31, Cavusoglu said that the Bayraktar drones sold to Ukraine can no longer be called Turkish. He also urged not to blame Ankara for the fact that Kiev uses this type of weapon in hostilities. Cavusoglu mentioned that the Turkish military finds Russian weapons during counter-terrorism operations, but does not blame Russia itself.
