Anatoly Kravchuk on the Ukrainian Armed Forces: our armed forces are too politicized today 
Military expert Anatoly Kravchuk spoke about the politicization of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. He said on the air of the Ukraine 24 TV channel that the Ukrainian Armed Forces recruits personnel on the principle of loyalty to the political course of the country's leadership.
The expert added that this principle of selection works for top positions, while the lower positions need to have “ loyalty to any commander. ”
“ Our armed forces today, unfortunately, are too politicized. They do not select people on a professional basis, but select those who will be true to the political course of the party. The higher the position, the more this principle works, “the specialist noted.
Earlier in November, Deputy Defense Minister of Ukraine Anna Malyar stated that the Ukrainian army is in constant readiness to defend itself. This is how she commented on reports of allegedly increased activity of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border.
