The Ministry of Labor called winning the lottery or sweepstake a reason for canceling children's payments acquired as a result of financial transactions, as well as large winnings in the lottery, in sweepstakes or in bookmakers. Such cancellation conditions are spelled out in the draft document of the Ministry of Labor, specifying the rules for providing support to Russians with low incomes, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports. If, taking into account a one-time receipt of a large amount, incomes turn out to be above this mark, the benefits will cease to be paid.
Also, state support will be deprived of the recipient sent for compulsory treatment or under arrest. A similar decision awaits a citizen who has ceased to raise a child in the event of a divorce. A pregnant woman declared incapacitated or put on the wanted list will also be left without benefits.
At the same time, the document specifies property that will not be taken into account when assessing the property status for calculating benefits. The list will include objects under arrest, hijacked vehicles, maternity capital, grants and subsidies to support entrepreneurs, amounts received on tax deduction, real estate and vehicles purchased with government subsidies, as well as targeted payments themselves.
This week, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed and introduced amendments to the State Duma to raise the minimum wage (minimum wage) and the living wage. Both parameters from 2022 will grow by 8.6 percent compared to current values. The reason for this decision was the acceleration of inflation, which significantly exceeded all forecasts for the beginning of the year.
