Firefighters Calendar releases 2022 Australian Firefighters Calendar Series organizations. The organizer of the project and director of the organization David Rogers spoke about this to Lente.ru.
The filming was attended by workers of city and rural services, as well as firefighters from the army and aviation. The competition for getting to its pages is invariably very high, specialists from all over the country participate in the competition. Animals, including koalas, kangaroos, echidnas, horses, ducks, cats and dogs, also took part in the photo session along with the rescuers.
The shooting lasted 25 days. In total, the organizers received over five thousand photographs from pet owners offering pets as models. “There was even a woman from Moscow who wanted to send her cat to Australia!” Shared the creative director of Firefighters Calendar (Crystal Doohan). According to her, it took a month to sort the photos and select the participants.
This year the calendar is presented in six versions: two classic and four, in which firefighters pose with various cute animals. A video of the filming process has been published on the project's YouTube channel.
The firefighters have been doing a good deed for the 29th time: the calendar has been published annually since 1993. The proceeds from the sale will go to help community groups that rescue and treat animals in distress. As noted on the project's website, over the entire period of its existence, more than $ 3.2 million have been raised.
