Ural President Ivanov announced his readiness to rent Zenit striker Dziuba
Ural President Grigory Ivanov said that Yekaterinburg residents are ready to consider the option of renting Zenit striker Artem Dziuba. This is reported by the “Rating of Bookmakers”.
The 60-year-old functionary believes that the club could take the forward on loan in winter. He called Dziuba a good footballer and noted that playing for Ural could help the striker return to the Russian national team.
33-year-old Dziuba's contract with Zenit expires in the summer of 2022. In the current Russian Premier League (RPL), the striker has seven goals in 14 matches.
In October, Dziuba refused to be called up to the national team for the 2022 World Cup qualification matches. The forward motivated this by the insufficient level of readiness. Then the Russian said that he did not want to take away someone's place in the national team. Since then, he has not been involved in the games of the national team.
As a Zenit footballer in 2018, Dzyuba went on loan to Arsenal Tula. He also played regularly on loan as a player for Spartak Moscow. Dziuba went to “Tom” and “Rostov” twice.
