Vladimir Putin approved amendments on the confiscation of corrupt officials' funds at the expense of the FIU
Russian President Vladimir Putin approved amendments to the legislation on compulsory pension insurance. They provide for the expansion of sources of income for the Pension Fund of Russia (PFR) at the expense of funds confiscated from corrupt officials. The document was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.
The current legislation provides for the replenishment of the fund's resources at the expense of insurance contributions, federal budget funds, penalties and other financial sanctions, income from the placement (investment) of temporarily free funds of a mandatory pension insurance.
In addition, the PFR receives voluntary contributions from individuals and organizations paid by them not as policyholders or insured persons, as well as funds of a payment reserve for making the payment of a funded pension, funds of pension savings of persons who are assigned urgent pension payment.
Earlier, the deputy chairman of the social committee of the Federation Council, Elena Bibikova, explained that both directly confiscated funds and those obtained as a result of the sale of confiscated property, that is, obtained through corruption offenses, will be sent to the PFR budget .
Earlier it was reported that Putin introduced the Duma amendments to increase the minimum wage (minimum wage) and the living wage. In his opinion, both parameters should grow by 8.6 percent to be above the annual inflation.
