A family was convicted in the Kuban for the abduction and rape of a 17-year-old girl 
families for the abduction and rape of a 17-year-old Russian woman. This was announced on Thursday, November 18, by the regional department of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).
As the court established, in September 2019, the 36-year-old father of the family, as well as two of his relatives, broke into the girl's house in the Kuban the village of Kushchevskaya and forcibly put her in a car, after which they took her to the family's house in the village of Oktyabrskaya. The kidnappers planned to give the girl in marriage to a 16-year-old son. On the same night, the young man raped the bride, and the relatives involved in the abduction committed violent acts of a sexual nature against her. According to Komsomolskaya Pravda, the convicted women allegedly checked whether the victim was a virgin. The girl was kept locked up for five days until she was released by the police, who were approached by the relatives of the abducted.
Criminal cases were instituted against the abductors under article 126 (“Abduction of a person by a group of persons by prior conspiracy”), 131 (“Rape”) and 132 (“Other actions of a sexual nature in relation to a minor”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The 16-year-old rapist received six years in an educational colony, the organizer of the abduction was given a shorter term – three years, his relatives – four and three and a half years in a maximum security colony.
