Lavrov accused Britain of wanting to brawl

Foreign Minister Lavrov: Britain cannot get used to the new situation after leaving the European Union

Official London makes loud statements about Ukraine out of desire in the international arena. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, RIA Novosti reports.

According to the Foreign Minister, Britain cannot get used to its new position in the world after leaving the European Union. “And now we have proclaimed their concept of“ Global Britain ”- we, they say, Britain, will now project all our abilities globally, but we need to assert ourselves, I understand,” the diplomat accused the United Kingdom.

Earlier, the Prime Minister Britain's Boris Johnson said that the cost of the Kremlin's miscalculation due to military adventurism near the borders of Ukraine and Poland would be enormous. “It will be a tragic, tragic mistake for the Kremlin to think that something can be obtained by military adventurism,” the politician concluded.

The United Kingdom's Defense Ministry previously signed an agreement to strengthen the naval potential of Ukraine and agreed to sell military personnel to Kiev ships amid tension in relations between Kiev and Moscow. The agreement provides for the supply of two mine action vessels, the joint production of eight missile ships, as well as the delivery and modernization of weapons systems on existing vessels.
