According to the interlocutor of the newspaper, COVID-19 exacerbated a chronic disease that arose against the background of alcohol abuse. Asmalovskaya died in intensive care in one of the Moscow clinics.
Asmalovskaya's death became known on November 17. According to the host of the ABVGDeyk program, Tatyana Chernyaeva, the presumptive cause of death was coronavirus. The TV presenter clarified that the artist was not vaccinated. The memory of Asmalovskaya was also honored by her colleague on the show “Dancing with the Stars” on the TV channel “Russia 1”, actor Marat Basharov. He noted that he remembered the dancer as modest and kind.
