Russian President Putin: Western partners are trying to drive a wedge into relations between Moscow and Beijing
Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that bilateral relations between Russia and China has reached the highest level in history and “have the character of an all-encompassing strategic partnership.” His words are quoted by TASS.
“We can say that they are considered a model of effective interstate interaction in the 21st century,” Putin emphasized at the expanded board of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
At the same time, as stated Russian leader, not everyone likes it. “Some Western partners are openly trying to drive a wedge between Moscow and Beijing,” the president said.
Putin noted that Russia and China see this and will respond to such attempts by expanding partnerships in different areas and coordinating steps on the international arena.
