Russian President Putin: NATO bombers fly 20 km from Russian borders
Strategic bombers of NATO countries fly 20 kilometers from borders Russia. This was stated by President Vladimir Putin, TASS reports.
According to him, this goes beyond the red line. “Western exercises in the Black Sea and the flights of their bombers 20 kilometers from the Russian border go beyond the border,” the head of state said.
Putin also noted that it is necessary to ensure that Russia is provided with security guarantees from the West .
On Monday, November 15, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Western countries are striving to aggravate the situation in the region, as evidenced by the US and NATO maneuvers in the Black Sea. According to him, he discussed this issue with Putin.
Earlier it was reported that the flagship of the US Sixth Fleet Mount Whitney began the transition from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean after completing exercises with NATO partners. The exercises off the coast of Romania were attended by ships of the US Navy, Turkey, Romania and Ukraine. As explained by the head of the Pentagon Lloyd Austin, such measures are part of an integrated strategy to contain Russia.
