Sergei Kiriyenko: 124 thousand teachers participate in the life of the project and develop its values

organizer of the All-Russian competition “Big Change”, which is part of the presidential platform “Russia – Land of Opportunities”. First Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of Russia Sergei Kirienko became the Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Addressing the meeting participants, he noted that Big Change is not just a competition, it is a community that unites both children and adults.

“We have really formed a whole community of teachers; today, on the Big Change platform, there are 124 thousand teachers who actively participate in the life of the project and develop its values. A whole community of parents has also formed, Big Change clubs are being created in many schools, communities and coordinators are emerging in the regions. And most importantly, children and adults become co-authors of this project, and it is very important to preserve this, ”stressed Sergei Kirienko.

The head of Rosmolodezh Ksenia Razuvaeva spoke about the results of the All-Russian competition “Big Change” and plans for the development of the project. She thanked the project partners for their contribution to the development of Big Change. “The largest companies invest heavily in the project, in the community, support children, and this is very expensive. You and I really managed to build one of the most ambitious children's projects in the country. If we talk about quantitative indicators, then we had almost 2.5 million children. It is very important that this year students of secondary vocational education have joined us, as well as pupils of grades 5-7. It is important to note that the proposal to expand the audience was made by the high school students themselves, “said the head of Rosmolodezh.

Ksenia Razuvaeva also noted that a third of the participants in the competition are residents of small towns and villages: “We have participants from villages and small towns. This suggests that we have brought up the guys from the most isolated settlements of our country. We also have participants from lyceums at universities, boarding schools. This shows that Big Change has become a platform for equal opportunities for different children. ”

“The All-Russian competition Big Change is one of the key projects of the Russia – Land of Opportunities platform. The competition does not stand still, it is actively developing. For example, this year, in addition to senior pupils, pupils of grades 5-7, as well as students of colleges and technical schools were able to participate in it. Also, the contestants had the opportunity to go on tourist trips across Russia within the framework of the project “More than a trip”. It is important that the active work in the development of the “Big Change” is taken by the participants of the competition themselves, they expressed their proposals at the first meeting of the Supervisory Board of the competition. I am sure that through joint efforts the project will become brighter and more interesting, ”said Alexei Komissarov, Director General of the ANO“ Russia – Country of Opportunities ”.

Maria Miller, the winner of the competition among grades 5-7 from the city of Pervouralsk, Sverdlovsk region, shared her impressions of traveling on the Big Change train: “During the Dream Travel, we stopped in different cities, we saw sights, we learned historical facts. Not everyone can learn the history of their country in such an unusual way. ”

The Minister of Education of Russia Sergei Kravtsov noted that an important feature of the project is that together with the schoolchildren, teachers, who are invited to the competition by the children themselves, take part in it. He shared, “Big Change has been successfully developing mentoring technologies for the second year in a row. A wide community of teachers has formed around the project, which brings together about 124 thousand teachers from all over the country. Starting next year, teachers-mentors of the semifinalists of the Big Break competition will be able to participate in the municipal stages of the Teacher of the Year of Russia competition, bypassing the school selection stage.

Olga Golodets, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank, noted that the Big Change competition “is of great importance for the development of the younger generation and opens up new opportunities. He motivates students from all over the country to show their abilities, learn new things and set ambitious goals. We are happy to support the competition by providing cases and support from Sberbank experts, because we see real potential and interesting ideas in the projects of the participants. They not only solve practical problems, but also receive the most relevant knowledge, which they then bring to the school, their environment, make it more open and modern. ”

Final of the All-Russian competition“ Big Change ”for pupils 9-11 classes ended on November 13 at the Artek ICC. The winners of the competition were 300 students of 11 grades and 300 students of 9-10 grades.
