A resident of St. Petersburg who killed and dismembered his father was arrested for two months
A court in St. Petersburg arrested 35-year-old Alexey Generalov, who killed his father because of the apartment. This was reported to “Lente.ru” in the united press service of the city courts.
According to the investigation, the Russian shot his father in the head after a quarrel. Then he dismembered the body with a jigsaw, put it in two bags, tied them to trolleys on wheels and threw them into the Smolenka River.
A case was initiated against Generalov under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Murder”). The resident of St. Petersburg fully admitted his guilt. He was sent to a pre-trial detention center until January 15.
The 66-year-old pensioner was reported missing on November 14 by his daughter. On November 16, the remains of a man were found in the Smolenka River during work to strengthen the embankment.
It was possible to establish the son's involvement in the murder after studying the recordings from street surveillance cameras. They recorded how, at three o'clock in the morning on November 14, a man was carrying a trolley on wheels, similar to the one to which a bag of remains was tied. The motive for the reprisal was the protracted conflict over the apartment.
