The submission of applications for the state awards in the field of human rights will last until February 10, 2022
From November 19, 2021 to February 10, 2022, documents will be accepted for the state awards for achievements in human rights and charitable activities. The submissions for the prize seekers and the materials attached to them must be sent to the office of the ombudsman in Russia.
In the submission, which must be issued in the form of a letter, it is necessary to reflect the personal data of the applicant (last name, first name and patronymic , date and place of birth, residence address, citizenship and others). In addition, information is required on the candidate's contribution to the development of human rights or charitable activities, as well as a short formulation of what outstanding achievements it is proposed to award the state prize. You can also attach materials from the media that will testify to the public recognition of the candidate's merits.
The Human Rights Prize is awarded to those who are active, fruitful public activities that have received wide public recognition in Russia. It should be aimed at protecting the rights and freedoms of man and citizen, as well as strengthening and developing the institutions of civil society.
The charitable prize is awarded to candidates who lead active, fruitful public activities that have received wide public recognition in Russia, aimed at the formation of a culture of charity, patronage, volunteering, as well as the provision of gratuitous assistance to those in need.
