In Dagestan in 2022, a mountaineering club, created in the 50s, will start working
, rock climbing and mountain tourism, created in 1950 on the basis of the Dagdizel plant. According to TASS, the club will train mountain guides and rescuers.
A representative of the Caspian administration said that the equipment of the club is underway, and classes in the sections will begin in the new year. “We plan that the club will not only develop appropriate sports, but also train mountain guides and rescuers who will be able to accompany tourists on mountain routes not only in Dagestan, but also in other regions of the North Caucasus,” the agency's source said./p>
A room was allocated for the club in the building of the department of culture, sports and youth policy of the city administration. There will also be a 10-meter climbing wall next to the football field under construction. The lesson will also take place in a forest near the city, where the 40-meter rock “Stone Laboratory” is located. Members of the “Diklos” club and amateur climbers used to train on it.
Already next year for Victory Day, under the auspices of the club, a route will be organized to the highest mountain village in Europe, Kurush, located at an altitude of 2560 meters, as well as climbing to the top of Yarydag.
