Border guards scared away migrants who tried to cross the Bug river and get to Poland
The Polish border guard prevented migrants from crossing the Bug river and get into Poland … Migrants in a boat sailed across the river on the border of Belarus and Poland, but caught the eye of the border guards. A group of migrants chose the river route to enter Poland from the territory of Belarus. For the operation, they chose the Bug River, along which the southern section of the Belarusian-Polish border passes. The migrants used a boat as a floating craft.

Three people set off from the Belarusian coast, but stumbled upon a patrol of Polish soldiers from the Nadbuzhan branch of the border guard, which scared them away. The boat turned around, and the border guards managed to notice another group of migrants hiding in the bushes on the territory of Belarus. They probably all planned to cross by boat.
The Bug River is also a large section of the border between Poland and the western regions of Ukraine, and migrants crossed the river near the jurisdiction of Kiev. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously asked the head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, to help arrange the border with Belarus.
In total, this year, Polish border guards thwarted more than 35,000 attempts to enter the EU from Belarus. The migration crisis was especially aggravated after a large group of migrants in a column arrived at the border near the Bruzgi-Kuznitsa checkpoint on November 8 and camped there for several thousand people.
