Ekaterina Bokova: short jackets cannot cause cystitis in the cold season. She is quoted by Gazeta.ru.
According to the expert, walking with bare ankles and skirts in the cold is actually safe. She assured that local cooling of the open area will not affect the joints in any way and can only cause external changes in the skin.
In addition, Bokova stated that short jackets cannot cause cystitis. It turned out that in the cold, blood from the vessels on the surface rushes to the internal organs, which is why its volume increases and concentrates in one place. As a result, blood pressure rises.
“The body’s reaction to this is an increase in urination, which becomes an antidote to pressure. In this regard, people often want to use the toilet more after being in the cold. And many perceive this as a symptom of an incipient renal pathology. But this is only a physiological reaction of the body, which can be in both young and old people, “the doctor said.
In addition, Bokova emphasized that wearing dresses in cold weather does not provoke urogenital infections, such like chlamydia, gonorrhea and trichomoniasis. However, the cold reduces the protective properties of the body, because of which the existing diseases can turn into a more acute phase.
Also, according to the doctor, the absence of a cap does not lead to meningitis. She explained that the disease is caused by infection, not cold. At the same time, Bokova recommended always wearing a scarf, since the impact of the frosty wind on the neck leads to instant general hypothermia of the body.
In October, the blogger revealed a way to wear a skirt in winter and not get cold. Model and blogger Elizabeth Fortmeyer explained that she usually prefers to wear black sheer nylon tights. Since they do not save her from the cold, she puts on two pairs: the second – beige with fleece lining.
