ATOR: from November 20, only Visa cards will be accepted in Hurghada to pay for PCR tests
Representatives of Anex Tour reported that On November 20, the payment system for PCR tests for coronavirus will change at the Hurghada airport. This information appeared on the website of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
Tourists arriving at the Egyptian resort will only accept classic cards of the international payment system Visa. Visa Electron, Mastercard, AmEx and Mir cards are not suitable for payment. In addition, experts urged to be more careful with cash, which also cannot be paid for the test.
However, it is noted that at Sharm el-Sheikh airport the rules remain the same – payment is possible both in US dollars and in local currency. Tourists were warned that due to technical reasons, the duration of the procedure may take several hours.
Earlier in November, ATOR experts revealed the optimal cost of rest in Egyptian resorts in winter. The average price of a tour with accommodation in a five-star hotel with all-inclusive meals starts from 96 thousand rubles for two. We are talking about vouchers departing from Russia on December 23.
