A criminal stole 140 doses of vaccine worth 130 thousand rubles from a medical facility in Nizhny Tagil vaccines. This was reported to “Lente.ru” on November 17 in the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Sverdlovsk Region.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, initially the hospital staff announced the theft of 280 doses, but later, when recalculating, it became clear that it was missing half as much – 140 doses. The total cost of the stolen is 130 thousand rubles.
According to the Telegram-channel Ural Mash, the room in which the refrigerator with the vaccine was located was not equipped with an alarm or video surveillance system. The thief was able to avoid meeting with the guard, picked up the key to the office and entered it without noise and signs of burglary.
To speed up the investigation, the police used a polygraph. In addition, the head of the Tagil garrison of the OVD sent part of the personnel to help the police in investigating the theft.
