Belarusians closed the Bruzgi border crossing for arriving migrants
Belarus closed access to the border near the place where migrants gather. Both new migrants and journalists were no longer allowed to enter the Kuznitsa-Bruzgi checkpoint (checkpoint). This was reported by a source of “Lenta.ru”.
According to the Belarusian security officials, the border is “temporarily closed.” At the same time, the exact dates of the opening were not named. The reason for the restriction of access to the checkpoint is also unknown.

Those migrants who spent the night there remained at the checkpoint. It is not known whether they are allowed to leave the border area in the opposite direction. In addition to migrants, employees of the Investigative Committee of Belarus were seen at the checkpoint.
On November 16, the Kuznitsa-Bruzgi checkpoint became the scene of a clash between a crowd of migrants and Polish security forces. Refugees tried to break into the territory of the European Union. They threw themselves at the Poles with sticks and stones, broke barriers. The Polish side responded with water cannons and tear gas. There are victims both from one side and from the other.
Minsk announced that they would start an investigation into the violent actions of the Polish military. The General Staff of Belarus believes that the Poles used toxic chemicals against the refugees.
After the clashes at the border, some migrants went to spend the night in a logistics center near the border. This room was allocated for them on behalf of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
