Russian who applied for a residence permit from Biden ended up in the USA

A resident of Ulan-Ude who asked Biden for a residence permit reached the United States

A resident of Ulan-Ude Alexei Semyonov, who asked the president Joe Biden's United States residence permit, entered the United States. This is reported by Vostok-Teleinform.

In June, the Russian recorded a video message to the American leader, in which he said that due to the coronavirus pandemic, his small business – a car repair shop – was closed. In addition, he became seriously ill and had gangrene cut out. Semyonov asked Biden as an exception to grant him and his family a residence permit in order to legally enter the United States. The politician did not respond to the request, and then the man decided to act independently.

It is noted that first the native of Buryatia flew to Moscow, and from there to Mexico. After that, he drove to the US border, where he asked for political asylum. The family spent a day in an immigration prison, and on November 16, the Semyonovs received documents stating that they were in the United States legally.

Semenov said that they would spend several days in quarantine at a hotel in San Diego , then they will go to Sacramento, where they wanted to live. The man is planning to find a job in a car repair shop.
