WarGonzo: soldiers of the 102nd base of the RF Armed Forces became human shields for the ceasefire in Armenia
The soldiers of the 102nd Russian military base actually became a human shield that helped secure the ceasefire between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This became known to the Telegram-channel WarGonzo of the war correspondent Semyon Pegov.
According to him, on the night of November 17, several detachments of soldiers from the Russian military base moved to the front line. It was their presence in the conflict area that made it possible to stop further clashes between the armed forces of the two countries.
“Azerbaijanis do not risk shooting at the Russian military or conducting artillery fire in their immediate vicinity,” the channel noted. >
On November 16, Armenian opposition leader, leader of the Azatagrum (Liberation) movement Mika Badalyan said that the 102nd military base of the Russian Armed Forces in Gyumri, Armenia, was raised by alarm against the background of the aggravation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. p>
