Woman from Kosovo detained in Milan on suspicion of terrorism

ANSA: Police detained 19-year-old Italian citizen in Milan on suspicion of terrorism in terrorism. This was reported by the ANSA agency.

According to law enforcement agencies, the woman came from Kosovo. ANSA writes that she connected her life with terrorist groups at the age of 16 and spoke out in support of the Islamic State (IS, a terrorist organization banned in Russia) .

Materials were found on the detainee's phone related to the activities of IS – symbols of the group, scenes of executions and massacres. It is noted that her husband is a relative of the organizer of the terrorist attack in Vienna in the fall of 2020.

Shooting in the Austrian capital began on the evening of November 2 at a synagogue in the city center. It was reported that almost simultaneously with this, several more people opened fire in other places. The attack killed five people. The police managed to neutralize one of the attackers – 20-year-old Viennese native Islamist Kurtin S.
